Lunchables & Cuddly Soccer Balls

I am currently (finally) experiencing the blessing of "slowing down" and enjoying my kids as Kaitlin is declaring her independence more and more everyday. Granted, I have three under three, but they truly take care of each other, and the older ones are starting to help Kaitlin be a "big girl."
Jaeda came into our room this morning at her prompt 6:15 and I received the greatest reward that she has ever given to me...an "I love you Mommy, I love you SOOOOOO much. Followed by, "I like your rings, they are so pretty." The latter I did not care about as much as the I love yous. This girl is so sweet, and sincere. What a blessing, God made her this way.
Jaeda, KJ, and I dropped off Brice at preschool this morning, but before that, we went to the store to get Brice a lunch...we were basically out of anything to make a real meal that I wouldn't feel guilty about sending to preschool with him. So we picked out his second Lunchable ever (causing me to feel even more guilty...ahhh the irony) and a green apple, and the child could not have been more excited about his "box lunch." Much more excited about this than the usual sandwich that I make for him at home (stamped with love, I might add). At school, while saying goodbye to him at the Culligan machine, he asked me for a big kiss..."one he could hear." So I laid a big one on him and received a rather large wet one in return. When Brice asked Kaitlin for one, she preferred to just blow him kisses...a trick that she overuses these days, but we smile big every time she does it anyways. Posted are pictures from this morning...Kaitlin's thighs were stuck in between the cribrails and she was cuddling all three blankets whining because she couldn't move. So I twisted and maneuvered her chubbies out of the rails and she was fine, though confused as to why I was taking her picture during the trauma. When blankie isn't around, she prefers Brice's soft soccer ball because it feels like her blankies.

6:15??!! Yikes. I'll be doing a little worse than that in a few weeks, but it just sounds SO early.

Can't wait to read all about your lives so we feel a little closer!

Love you all!
